FleetMonitor were created as an in-house fleet monitoring service, all available services in South Africa did not fit our need for a on-time and more affordable fleet monitoring service.
P Bier Busdienste rely on vehicle tracking for several reasons, the most important is to insure that our vehicles arrive on-time. For many years we have been searching for the perfect and affordable solution. After discussing our requirements with our current tracking provider they were not willing to change their model to fit our requirements. We discussed our situation with other operators in the industry and found that we were not the only ones looking for something different.
Our average vehicle tracking cost per month were around R11 000.00 per month, around R132 000.00 per year.
This made us search outside of the box, after a visit to China in early 2017 we had the first of our test units and after installation in our fleet, it became clear that we could create a service to fit our requirements. After several months of testing. FleetMonitor were born, and we’ve been growing ever since and supplying a more affordable service for operators in the Charter bus & Coach industry.
After moving all our vehicles to FleetMonitor we’ve been able to cut our fleet monitoring cost by more than 50%.
